Hey Everyone!

December is a busy and hectic month for us all. I hope you'll avoid the malls and buy art and hand made items for your loved ones this year. Here's my December Calender. Lot's of exciting stuff for me this year and such GREAT ART by my fellow artists. Hope to hook up with you at one of these shows or sometime to celebrate the Holiday Season with you.

Look for a collaboration show in January at M.J. Higgins downtown in from Walt Hall, Susan Weber and myself. We plan on having a fun time painting it.

"LOVE LIFE" is my personal inspiration for our January show. Hey we have to remind ourselves somehow...

November 30th, Friday, Truxtop Gallery, Silverlake. Walt and I have painted the walls for this "Winterwanderland" of art. Kari Jewell and John Hicks have made some fun surprise sculptures as well. Kari has a fun time in store for us!

December 8th, Saturday, Cactus Gallery in Eagle Rock, "Tiny Treasures" Come one come all for this annual holiday sale. Sandra has an incredible group of artists and they all come together for this holiday show. All of your favorites! She has something for everyone on your list!

December 13th, M.J. Higgins, Downtown Art Walk, Walt Hall, Susan Weber and myself are super excited to show our art in "one of" my dear friend Martha Higgins new spaces! We hope you can make it to share in the joy of friendship and love in celebrating her new diggs! We are creating some great Holiday Gifts as well as stocking stuffers to ring in the fun! Hope to see you there, more details to come on this show.

Here's a new bam, bam, bamboo at Martha's. Also she has hung "butt why so blue lucky love cat".

Go check them out before the city (eminent domain) demolishes the building for their car wash/gas station/parking garage. I still can't believe the lack of city planning downtown!!!!!!!! Who ever is in charge of this needs to not only be fired but tared and feathered. Is that Gail Goldberg? Correct me if I'm wrong. Oh well even if she rejected the project City Hall just over rid it anyway. The Mayor should be ashamed of himself. Any city official that would let this happen is an IDIOT!

Ok a little harsh, butt I'm really maaaaaaad.................

This is a new piece that Susan and I did for the Paintography show.

Our last show "Paintography" at M.J. Higgins is part of an on going series that Susan and I call "Instant Coco". This title was born when Susan, Martin Garcia and I were in my shop trying to come up with a name for our show. Out of no where Martin said "instant coco" it just cracked us up because it was so silly. Upon further research I found "instant" (the point of time now present) "coco" (a name used by many clowns)

Sounds about wright for a couple of clowns who are usually soooo in the moment when doin our art.

Although we are open to show titles per Gallery I want to stick with our original one it's just such the organic and appropriate name for us.

We hope you will enjoy this on going show!
